Background

Glyphic openly wears its influences of Photo-lettering, Latin serifs, and Roman capital inscriptions, channeled into a striking and confident, contemporary display typeface. It’s a play on extremes with tall and wide open shapes, that end in sharply pinched serifs and terminals.

The Super weight occupies space and attention, while the Light is airy and retrained. Short ascenders and descenders, and close spacing offer maximum impact at large sizes, making Glyphic at home on printed formats from record and book covers, to large scale headlines.
